DLALA INDIMA - Phakamisa

Engaging the local connection to artists and platforms in our immediate surrounds as a means of strengthening the reach of Dlala Indima received a boost when we interacted with Zingisa in Mdantsane to organise a Park Jam. This was also a great experience to take our visitors Rat, Rike and Bronwyn on. Artists, Children, Youth, Community members and local entrepreneurs all worked together and at the end we had a stage consisting of a gazebo, along with a 20m plus size wall to compose an everyday message of encouragement “Umzingisi Akanashwa” (In perseverance there is no misfortune).

Artists from as far as Port Elizabeth arrived to perform and many hands assisted in cleaning and readying the wall for artwork while the music set the scene.
